Past, current Pats team up with Andruzzi

Some current and past Patriots players will join forces today at the third-annual Joe Andruzzi and Friends Golf Tournament at the Tournament Players Club (TPC) Boston in Norton, Mass. The event raises funds for the Joe Andruzzi Foundation, which offers financial assistance to cancer patients and their families and funds pediatric brain cancer research.

Current Patriots players scheduled to attend include Sebastian Vollmer, Jermaine Cunningham, Tully Banta-Cain, Rob Gronkowski, Logan Mankins and Dan Koppen, as well as strength coach Harold Nash.

Former Patriots with plans to attend include Matt Chatham, Christian Fauria, Pete Brock, Jim Bowman, Harold Shaw, Jermaine Wiggins and Jon Williams.

Andruzzi's charity work was highlighted on ESPNBoston.com a few weeks ago, along with his health-related link to Patriots draft pick Marcus Cannon.

ESPNBoston.com will be at Andruzzi's event today, with golfers scheduled to tee off at 1 p.m.
