Patriots coach Bill Belichick attended this morning's 25-year reunion for the 1986 Super Bowl champion New York Giants. Belichick was the defensive coordinator on that Giants staff, serving under Bill Parcells.

Belichick received a "big applause", according to ESPNNewYork's Ohm Youngmisuk, while reminiscing about some of the team's big victories, such as the NFC Championship win over the Redskins. Belichick also told the crowd that the best competition was on the practice field.

Part of what led Belichick to New England was his connection to Parcells.

Members of the "Parcells coaching tree", including former Patriots defensive coordinator Romeo Crennel, were photographed at this morning's event.
