Peter King's weekly "Monday Morning Quarterback" piece has a few Patriots items of note.
King relays his thoughts after visiting Patriots camp last week, and includes comments from defensive lineman Vince Wilfork on Albert Haynesworth staying on the right path.
"I tell you what, if he doesn't, he's out of here, and he knows it," Wilfork tells King. "He knows he has some baggage, and he wants to turn it around."
King also shares the story of how receiver Randy Moss flew into New England from Florida to pay respects to Myra Kraft.
Wilfork tells King, "Randy is a good friend of mine. He called me and said, 'Vince, I'm nervous about coming up. But I want to come. I shared a bond with her. I really want to be there.' Guys who don't know Randy, they'll say he's arrogant. But if he could have retired here, he would have. He came here for one reason and one reason only: He wanted to support the Kraft family.''
