PGA champ: Dream to play with Brady

The PGA Championship had a New England twist with Keegan Bradley, who grew up in Vermont and played for Hopkinton (Mass.) High for one season (2003), winning in a three-hole playoff.

Like many who grew up in the region, Bradley is a big sports fan. Bradley touched on his New England roots, and one player in particular he's idolized, after the stunning victory.

ESPN.com columnist Gene Wojciechowski writes about it in his column today:

A check for $1.445 million comes with it. A Monday media tour comes with it. A round of golf with his Patriots football hero might come with it.

"I'd love to play with Tom Brady," Bradley said of the Pats' QB. "Yeah, he's one of my idols. That would be a dream come true."
