FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots made their third practice squad transaction of the week on Friday morning, releasing wide receiver Kerry Taylor and re-signing offensive lineman Nick McDonald.
McDonald, who was originally signed to the practice squad on Sept. 5, was released yesterday. His return adds more depth to the interior of the offensive line, which will be without center Dan Koppen for several weeks.
A rookie free agent, Taylor was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 3. His release leaves the Patriots without a wide receiver on their practice squad.
