Power rankings: Pats drop a spot

9/27/2011

The New England Patriots slipped back one spot to No. 3 in this week's ESPN.com NFL Power Rankings.

After spending the first two weeks of the season at No. 2, the Patriots slipped behind the New Orleans Saints. The Patriots remain the top-ranked team in the AFC, while Baltimore climbed two spots to No. 5 and the Bills vaulted 10 spots to No. 6 (the Jets slipped four spots to No. 7).

Writes ESPN AFC East blogger James Walker: "Don't count on QB Tom Brady to throw four interceptions every week."

Hop HERE to see how the panelists voted (John Clayton dropped them to No. 4 behind the Bills).
