Mankins sits out due to illness

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots offensive lineman Logan Mankins did not participate in Wednesday's practice session due to illness. In total, 17 players appear on the first participation report of the week for the Patriots, including 11 that were limited during the session. Here's the full breakdown:

For the Raiders, LB Ricky Brown (concussion), CB Chris Johnson (hamstring), WR Louis Murphy (groin), RB Marcel Reece (ankle), and DE Matt Shaughnessy (shoulder) did not participate Wednesday; QB Jason Campbell (foot), CB Chimidi Chekwa (hamstring), WR Jacoby Ford (hamstring), S Michael Huff (concussion), and S Michael Mitchell (knee) were limited; and S Jerome Boyd (knee), S Matt Giordano (shoulder), LB Quentin Groves (quadricep), RB Darren McFadden (shoulder/groin), and CB DeMarcus Van Dyke (knee) all participated fully.
