FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots cornerback Ras-I Dowling was not present for the media access portion of Friday's practice after having been limited on Wednesday and Thursday's sessions with a hip injury.
Friday's injury report, due to be released at 4 p.m., will shed light on Dowling's status for Sunday's game against the Raiders. If he can't play for a second straight week, the team will likely again call on cornerbacks Leigh Bodden and Kyle Arrington to see more playing time.
Also not spotted for a second straight day were defensive tackles Albert Haynesworth (back) and Mike Wright (concussion), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back), and tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee). After not having practiced all week (with the exception of Haynesworth on Wednesday), it is highly unlikely any of these players will travel to Oakland or play against the Raiders.
