The New England Patriots stood firm at No. 3 in ESPN.com's latest power rankings.

The Patriots remain the top-ranked team in the AFC, with the Baltimore Ravens (5th) and Houston Texans (6th) the nearest conference foes. Among AFC East rivals, the Buffalo Bills' loss to the Cincinnati Bengals dropped them to No. 9, while the New York Jets -- in town this week -- plummeted to No. 14.

New England did earn one vote at No. 2, but was third on four of five blogger ballots. Hop HERE to see the full voting tally from the panelists.

In the comments for each team, AFC East blogger James Walker notes, "WR Wes Welker is on pace for 160 catches and 20 touchdowns."
