Haynesworth practices; Woodhead still out

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth practiced for a second straight day on Friday as the team wound down their on-field preparations for Sunday's divisional matchup with the Jets.

Haynesworth was listed on Thursday's injury report as as a limited participant in practice with a back injury. Most likely, Haynesworth will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game on Friday's report, but after having practiced twice this week, Haynesworth appears primed to play on Sunday.

Also practicing for a second straight day were defensive lineman Mike Wright (concussion) and tight end Aaron Hernandez (knee). Like Haynesworth, both players now have a strong chance of playing on Sunday against the Jets.

Not practicing for a third straight day were running back Danny Woodhead (ankle), wide receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back), and linebacker Jerod Mayo (knee). Head coach Bill Belichick said in his Friday news conference that he had talked to Woodhead on Friday and "he's definitely doing better," and that "we'll see how it goes, give it a try today, see what he's able to do."

It is highly unlikely any of these four players out of practice on Friday will suit up in Sunday's contest.
