Kopa's practice award streak snapped

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Practice squad offensive lineman Matt Kopa had been 3 for 3 in earning practice player of the week honors, but his streak has been snapped this week.

The Patriots' practice players of the week, the award given by coaches for those who best help the team prepare in the days leading up to a victory, are defensive end Markell Carter (practice squad), quarterback Ryan Mallett, tight end Garrett Mills (practice squad), cornerback Antwaun Molden and offensive lineman Ryan Wendell.

Molden, the fourth-year cornerback who backs up Devin McCourty, now ties Kopa for the team lead.
