FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- When putting together a 46-man game-day roster, the role of special teams is crucial. With this in mind, here is a look at Patriots players who appeared on multiple units Sunday:

NOTES: Cornerback Sterling Moore, promoted from the practice squad Saturday, played on the punt return unit. ... Running back BenJarvus Green-Ellis remains on the punt coverage team, while fellow running back Danny Woodhead plays on kickoff coverage. ... Woodhead, cornerback Kyle Arrington and linebackers Dane Fletcher and Jeff Tarpinian were credited with special teams tackles. ... Rookie running back Shane Vereen played on kickoff coverage.
