FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- With the Patriots not playing this upcoming weekend, it's a chance to step back and look at some of the team's top individual performers and performances from an NFL perspective:
Top passing performance -- No quarterback has topped Tom Brady's 517-yard performance in the season-opener, at Miami.
Top pass play -- The Brady-to-Wes Welker 99-yard touchdown, at Miami, is the season's longest pass play.
Most receptions in a game -- Welker's 16, at Buffalo, is an NFL high.
Most receiving yards in a game -- Welker's 217, at Buffalo, is also an NFL high.
Most interceptions -- Cornerback Kyle Arrington, with 4. There are 12 players tied with 3 apiece.
Most receptions -- Welker, with 51. Two players tied for the next spot, with 39 apiece.
Most receiving yards -- Welker, with 785. The next player, Carolina's Steve Smith, has 675.
