LB Tracy White – 7 of 72
S Sergio Brown – 1 of 72

(Snaps include encroachment, holding, holding, defensive pass interference and defensive pass interference penalties.)

ANALYSIS: DT Albert Haynesworth played one second-half snap, in which he was dominated on Brandon Jacobs’ 10-yard touchdown run. Bill Belichick said it was strictly rotational, and from a coaching perspective, one can respect a coach who doesn’t want to publicly call out a player. At the same time, it was clear it was more than rotational. Haynesworth wasn’t part of the short-yardage package at the end of the game, and there would be no rotation for that. … With veteran LDE Shaun Ellis out with a rib injury, second-year player Brandon Deaderick filled in nicely. He showed up with some strong rushes. … After a reduced role last week as he worked his way back from an MCL strain, LB Jerod Mayo was back to full-time duty and led the defensive huddle. … At cornerback, Phillip Adams has passed Antwaun Molden for the No. 3 role previously held by since-released Leigh Bodden. … The one snap missed by safety Patrick Chung was the play in which his replacement, Sergio Brown, was flagged for pass interference at the 1-yard line, a key play in the game. … At the other safety spot, the Patriots split the reps between James Ihedigbo and Josh Barrett, with Barrett playing for the first time since Oct. 2 at Oakland. … Linebacker depth figures to be a big concern this week, with Brandon Spikes (MCL strain) and Gary Guyton (unknown) getting knocked out of Sunday’s game. That’s why veteran Tracy White was on the field for the final drive, and rookie free agent Jeff Tarpinian could be thrust into his first action this week.
