Rookie tackle Nate Solder warms up in full uniform before Sunday's game.EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. -- Rookie offensive tackle Nate Solder, who was added to the injury report Saturday with a concussion, has taken the field in full uniform. He is being watched closely by head trainer Jim Whalen and team doctor Thomas Gill, which reflects he is a game-time decision.

If he is active, Solder projects to the swing tackle role as the top backup behind Matt Light (left) and Sebastian Vollmer (right).

He also played 23 snaps last week as a second/third tight end, which gave the Patriots a bigger blocker in an attempt to spark the running game.
