ESPN's "Stats & Information" blog looks at one key area of the Patriots-Eagles game -- yards after the catch.
As noted in the blog entry, the Patriots rank second in the NFL in yards after the catch and are the only team in the NFL to have two players in the top seven (Wes Welker, Rob Gronkowski). They are one of two teams with three players in the top 31 of YA (when accounting for Deion Branch).
"The Eagles don't allow many passing yards, but more than half of them (53.1 percent) come after the catch," ESPN's Stats & Info notes. "No team in the league allows a higher percentage of its opponents' pass yards after the catch."
