FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The Patriots held their first full practice of the week on Thursday, and linebacker Brandon Spikes (knee) and offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back/ankle) were the lone absences.

Spikes was spotted at the team's Wednesday walkthrough and was seen in the locker room on Thursday, suggesting that his return from a sprained MCL may be close. Linebacker Dane Fletcher (thumb) practiced for a second straight day.

Vollmer, on the other hand, was not at the walkthrough, and was spotted leaving the stadium on Sunday in Philadelphia with a walking boot on his right foot. His injury situation may be more long-term, which could lead to more playing time for rookies Nate Solder and Marcus Cannon.

Cornerback Antwaun Molden, who suffered a concussion in Sunday's game, took part in practice, a positive sign that he has been cleared to play. Players were in light shoulder pads for the session.
