Patriots can clinch AFC East

One of the Patriots' first goals as a team each year is in reach this weekend.

The Patriots can clinch the AFC East division if two things happen:

1. They win on the road against the Redskins.
2. The Jets lose at home against the Chiefs.

The Patriots (9-3) are in good position for another AFC East crown because they swept the season series against the Jets (7-5), thus owning the head-to-head tie-breaker.

That sets up the clinch scenario this weekend.
