Sound FX with Brady & Belichick

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady and coach Bill Belichick were mic'd up during Sunday's win over the Colts, and the sound was part of Wednesday night's Sound FX program on NFL Network. The clip has also been posted on NFL.com (link here).

The piece opens with Brady asking if Peyton Manning made the trip. The two connect during warmups and talk about fatherhood.

Belichick also checks in with Manning and asks how he's doing.

Other parts of the piece that stand out:

1. Belichick speaking with the play-callers -- Matt Patricia (defense) and Bill O'Brien (offense) -- with a focus on tempo. Belichick instructs O'Brien to "throw it."

2. Brady on Rob Gronkowski: "He's wide open! How hard is it?"

3. Brady in the huddle before BenJarvus Green-Ellis' 1-yard touchdown run: "Championship play, right here."

4. Belichick coming up to Gronkowski on the sideline to congratulate him after Gronkowski's third touchdown.
