FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- For the third straight game, the Patriots were called for just three accepted penalties. This reflects a team playing disciplined football at the right time.

The Patriots are now averaging 5.8 accepted penalties per game. After a win over the Jets on Nov. 13, the Patriots were averaging 6.7 accepted penalties per game, so they've almost cut the number by 1 over the last three games.

Last year, the Patriots were flagged for an average of 5.18 accepted penalties per game. In 2009, it was 5.06, and the year before that, it was 3.56.

As for drawn holding penalties, second-year defensive lineman Kyle Love picked up his second of the season.
