The Patriots have limited penalties in recent weeks, which has been a contributing factor in their seven-game winning streak. They had five accepted penalties last Saturday against the Dolphins, and now have 83 accepted penalties this season (making them a top-10 team in the NFL for fewest penalties).

Penalties came against Devin McCourty (pass interference), Rob Ninkovich (pass interference), Niko Koutouvides (false start on special teams), Aaron Hernandez (false start) and Rob Gronkowski (illegal formation when receiver Chad Ochocinco covered him up at the line).

With the two defensive pass interference penalties, the Patriots reach double digits in that category on the season.

Also, defensive lineman Kyle Love drew his second holding penalty on the opposition in two weeks.
