FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- After taking a hard hit on a 2-yard run early in the fourth quarter, Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was examined by trainers on the sideline, who appeared to be administering a concussion test.
Hernandez was announced as questionable to return with a head injury.
Frequently lining up in the offensive backfield, Hernandez is the Patriots' leading rusher in the game, carrying the ball five times for 61 yards. He also has four catches for 55 yards and a touchdown.
