Pats award 10 trips to Super Bowl

In their continuing effort to celebrate volunteerism, the Patriots announced 10 winners of their “Super Bowl for Super People” online sweepstakes, which is meant to recognize outstanding individuals in the public-service sector.

Each winner gets a trip for two to Super Bowl XLVI. The winners will also participate in a public Patriots send-off at Gillette Stadium on Sunday.

Two winners were selected randomly from each of the following categories: firefighter, police officer, teacher, military and nurse.

Here are the winners:

Firefighter:
Timothy Wilder of Somersworth, N.H.
John Surabian of Stoneham, Mass.

Police Officer:
Timothy Sullivan of East Walpole, Mass.
Sherry DeGenova of Hartford, Conn.

Teacher:
Whitney Hartwell of Norfolk, Mass.
Jim Miller of Auburn, Maine

Military:
Patrick Squires of Hingham, Mass.
Todd Seymour of Lempster, N.H.

Nurse:
Tara Jean of Dracut, Mass.
Jim Taber of Tiverton, R.I.
