INDIANAPOLIS -- Bill Parcells said he always saved something unique for a Super Bowl, which might catch the opposition off guard. With this in mind, what might Bill Belichick have up his hoodie sleeve?
Some quick-hit thoughts:
1. Perhaps offensive lineman Nate Solder, who played 144 snaps as a tight end, catches his first career pass.
2. Receiver Julian Edelman in the Wildcat.
3. Vince Wilfork on the goal-line as a power fullback would catch our attention.
4. Doing his best Mike Vrabel impersonation, wearing No. 50, maybe linebacker Rob Ninkovich catches a pass in the end zone.
5. Or perhaps it's linebacker Dane Fletcher.
6. Running back Kevin Faulk has thrown four career passes; could he throw his fifth?
YOUR TURN: Let's get some "creative wrinkles" on the record. Share your thoughts in the comments section of this blog entry.
