Patriots waive LB Christian Cox

The Patriots made a minor roster move on Friday, waiving linebacker Christian Cox, according to a league source.

The Utah product spent all of last season on injured reserve after suffering a neck injury in the preseason opener.

Cox was signed by the Patriots on Aug. 2, 2011 as an undrafted free agent.
