ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss weighs in on the rumblings of New England being a possible landing spot for Tim Tebow, saying it makes sense that the Patriots would be in the conversation if one plays "connect the dots" given Bill Belichick's praise for Tebow in the past and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels' connection to Tebow from their days in Denver.

Reiss said such a move could be reminiscent of the Patriots in 2005 bringing in Doug Flutie, a player Belichick long admired, but it would require Tebow being willing to accept some sort of specialized role.

No, Tebow wouldn't be taking time away from Tom Brady, Reiss says, nor can he see Tebow as the Patriots' quarterback of the future.
