The Patriots will work-out Ohio linebacker Noah Keller on Tuesday, Keller told Ralph Vacchiano and Randy Cross of SiriusXM NFL Radio on Sunday.
Keller played the middle-linebacker position for the Bobcats in their 4-3 scheme, and is listed at 6-foot-1, 245 pounds. He notched a career-high 116 tackles in 2011, and was named to the All-MAC second-team.
While only recording one sack last season, Keller believes that he would have the versatility to play outside linebacker.
"I think I've showed with my Pro Day numbers that not only am I strong enough to play inside, but I have the speed, agility, and quickness to play outside," Keller said. "I made sure over this winter I worked a lot with my outside linebacker coach definitely a lot on all my pass rush moves, so I just think that's one thing that I definitely never got to show on film, playing inside all my career, but it's something that I think I can do."
