Patriots owner Robert Kraft will accept an honorary degree on behalf of his late wife, Myra, from Brandeis University, her alma mater, on Sunday.

Myra Kraft was a 1964 graduate of the university located in Waltham, Mass., and became a university trustee in 1986. For 10 years she served as the vice chair of the board.

She was a strong supporter of the school and several initiatives, including serving on the presidential search committee that led Brandeis to hire current president Frederick Lawrence.

On March 31, 2011, in her final public appearance before her passing, Mrs. Kraft and Mr. Kraft hosted an event for Lawrence the evening before his inauguration.

The commencement ceremony is set to begin Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Field Yates has previous experience interning with the New England Patriots on both their coaching and scouting staffs. A graduate of Wesleyan University (CT), he is a regular contributor to ESPN Boston's Patriots coverage and ESPN Insider.
