That is one of the main thoughts passed along at this address when it comes to the Bill Belichick/Tom Brady era of New England Patriots football. It's unlikely we'll see something like it again.
But today, let's make an exception and take a trip in the flux capacitor to the year 2015, while asking the question, "What might the Patriots look like at that time?"
This was an exercise that ESPN's Trent Dilfer, Mel Kiper, Gary Horton and Matt Williamson went through for all 32 teams, with consultation from former Indianapolis Colts president Bill Polian, who now serves as an ESPN analyst. The result is an Insider piece now posted on ESPN.com.
The categories evaluated are:
2. Quarterback (the evaluation assumes a 38-year-old Brady will still be calling signals)
4. Front office
Only one team was rated higher than the Patriots, the Green Bay Packers.
