In a story now posted on ESPNBoston.com, Mike Reiss writes on how Joseph Addai is primed to fill the veteran running back role that has been a staple in Bill Belichick's tenure as coach. Just more than one month after signing, his presence is being felt.

"I look up to him, almost like a big brother," second-year rusher Stevan Ridley says of Addai. "To have this time with him, like I had with [Kevin] Faulk, I'm going to cherish it and learn everything I can from him. He's an awesome guy, somebody who has seen it all. And he's very willing to teach. It's a comfort zone for me to have someone I can depend on who has seen everything that I can learn from and try to better myself."

Addai shares insight on what he's liked about his time in New England so far, while comparing quarterbacks Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.
