CHELSEA, Mass. -- More than 100 area high school athletes participated in a football camp Saturday at Chelsea High School, hosted by Patriots cornerback Kyle Arrington with help from teammate and defensive tackle Kyle Love.

"We're trying to focus on the fundamentals. Whether it's the 5-10-5 (shuttle) drill, the 'L' drill, the 40-yard dash," Arrington said. "Things that Kyle (Love) and I had to go through at the high school, college process. (We want) to get them acclimated to (those)."

Added Love: "For the most part, we're out here having fun. We're teaching these kids the stuff that we grew up on -- the fundamentals, with the running, pumping your arms, staying low, coming out with explosion. Just the little things that matter when it comes to these Nike combines and going to the next level, college ball."

It's the last gasp of the offseason for Arrington and Love, who will report to Patriots training camp next week.

"At this point, you just want to go into it as healthy as possible. Try to get off your feet, relax, and clear your mind," Arrington said. "It's a long season, but it's going to be a good one."
