The Patriots added some depth on the offensive line on Wednesday morning, signing rookie Kyle Hill.

Hill, a four-year starter at left tackle Duke, went undrafted in April.

The 6-foot-6, 306-pounder played and started in 10 games during the 2011 season, and finished his collegiate career with 46 starts.

The Patriots have been down a number of offensive tackles in recent days, with Sebastian Vollmer (PUP) being joined by Kyle Hix and Matt Kopa on the sidelines.
Field Yates has previous experience interning with the New England Patriots on both their coaching and scouting staffs. A graduate of Wesleyan University (CT), he is a regular contributor to ESPN Boston's Patriots coverage and ESPN Insider.
