Dueling 53-man projections, v. 2.0

For the third straight year, our Patriots reporters at ESPNBoston.com are offering their projections for the 53-man roster throughout the preseason.

The second installment of the dueling 53-man roster projections is now posted on ESPNBoston.com.

Here are some areas where our reporters disagree on their projections:
  • Continuing to monitor the potential Deion Branch vs. Donte' Stallworth camp battle, Reiss and Rodak have Stallworth, while Yates keeps Branch.
  • Two undrafted rookies are on all three projections: running back Brandon Bolden and defensive end Justin Francis. For both Yates and Rodak, Francis knocks veteran Trevor Scott off the roster.
  • Does Brandon Deaderick make the final roster? For a second straight projection, Yates leaves him off.
