Updating roster cuts as deadline nears

The Patriots will need to trim their roster to 75 players by 4 p.m. today. With practice set for 1:15 p.m., it appears likely that the team will announce its 10 roster moves before players take the field this afternoon.

There have already been seven cuts either confirmed or reported:

FB Spencer Larsen (via Baltimore Sun)
DL Gerard Warren
S Josh Barrett
CB Ross Ventrone

Placed on reserve/PUP: TE Jake Ballard

The anticipated cuts of Warren, Barrett, and Ventrone, as well as the move regarding Ballard, were reported by Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe.
