Patriots quarterback Tom Brady left the field bloodied after taking a shot to his nose on a sack by Titans' defensive end Kamerion Wimbley in the second quarter of the Patriots' 34-13 season-opening win.
The gash on his nose required attention from the Patriots' medical staff, but didn't prevent Brady from returning to the field and performing at a high level.
Brady, sporting a bandage during his post-game press conference, was asked if the nose was broken.
"I dont know," he said succinctly.
When asked in a follow up if he had suffered a broken nose previously, Brady joked with a grin, "In my life? No. Previous life? I'm not sure."
Brady, who insisted he'll "be fine" and that he has "no idea what a broken nose feels like," joked that he could use some scars.
The quarterback then debunked the notion presented by a reporter of him being a "pretty boy."
"No, hopefully not. I never mind a little blood," he said.
