The Patriots' home-opener Sunday against the Cardinals will be broadcast on Fox. This is the norm for when an NFC team visits an AFC team.

The Fox broadcasting team scheduled to call the game is Dick Stockton (play-by-play), John Lynch (analysis) and Jennifer Hale (sideline).

Lynch has ties to the Patriots' organization from his brief training camp stint with the team in 2008. He didn't appear in a regular-season game for the club.

"It goes without saying but John is an all-time great safety, one of the league’s classiest professionals and his elite play speaks for itself," coach Bill Belichick said at the time the club released Lynch.

2012 announcer pairings
at Titans: Jim Nantz/Phil Simms (CBS)
vs. Cardinals: Stockton/Lynch/Hale (Fox)
