Penalty watch: Gronk & Spikes lead

After being penalized four times in the season-opener, the Patriots were called for eight penalties in last Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. The sloppiness reflected what was an inconsistent performance.

The Patriots weren't called for an offensive or special teams penalty in the season opener, but they made up for that with a flag-filled effort in those areas.
