Rookie DL Francis not spotted at practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Rookie defensive lineman Justin Francis was not spotted at the beginning of Thursday's practice, which was held in full pads.

Francis was added the injury report on Wednesday as limited with an ankle injury. He was not listed on last Friday's injury report, and was inactive for Sunday's game against Arizona.

The undrafted Rutgers product is a reserve option on the both the exterior and interior of the defensive line.

Meanwhile, practice squad receiver Kerry Taylor was not spotted on the field, while Greg Salas was on the field after being added to the practice squad on Thursday.

Tight end Aaron Hernandez (ankle) also missed his second straight practice.
