Brady & shotgun tracker, Week 3

Continuing to monitor a trend of quarterback Tom Brady and the shotgun snap, let's update the numbers from Sunday's loss to the Ravens:

Usage of the shotgun
vs. Ravens: 41 of 82 (6 runs, 34 passes, 1 fumbled snap)
vs. Cardinals: 47 of 82 (9 runs, 38 passes)
vs. Titans: 13 of 67 (0 runs, 13 passes)

Sunday marked the first time that the new center/quarterback exchange with Ryan Wendell/Tom Brady showed up in a negative light, with an early snap from Wendell on the first drive that the Patriots recovered.

On the season, the Patriots have been in the shotgun 43.7 percent of the time (101 of 231).
