The Seahawks will trust their defense and special teams early in attempting to keep it close. They want to win it in the fourth quarter but it's just not going to happen. It will be close to start, as the Patriots struggle early in that environment, but they will make the necessary adjustments and I think they run away with this one in the second half. It's time to attack the deep part of the field and Brandon Lloyd will have a huge day off play-action.

I think this is going to be a tough game for the Patriots. The Seahawks are a different team at home, and that defense can really get after it. It's one of the best defenses in the NFL, but I'm just not sure they'll be able to score enough to keep pace with the Patriots, who have found their groove offensively. If I'm the Patriots, staying alert for shots down the field and trick plays is big this week. This one could go either way.

SEAHAWKS 24, PATRIOTS 21
Not a game to be overlooked for the Patriots, and one that could cause fans to pump the brakes after two impressive offensive performances. The Seahawks give up the second-fewest points of any NFL defense, allow the fewest yards per game, and have the NFC's second best home record since 2002. The Seahawks meeting the Patriots offense could change some of those statistics, but instead of continuing to add to New England's momentum, this game could reveal some problems in all three phases that have cropped up early this season. How the team responds will determine the outcome.

PATRIOTS 27, SEAHAWKS 13
The Patriots will have to earn this one, because the Seahawks are a stiff task at home, backed by a boisterous crowd that will put the pressure on the Patriots' offense. But ultimately, the precise and efficient unit will break through and solve the stingy Seattle defense, finding its rhythm and putting the pressure back on Seattle's offense to play keep up. With a struggling rookie quarterback (five turnovers in his last two games) and a lack of weapons in the receiving game, the Seahawks won't be able to hang with the Patriots.

PATRIOTS 24, SEAHAWKS 14
After a scoreless game heads into the second quarter, New England goes absolutely nuts, scoring two touchdowns and a field goal just minutes apart, including a 38-yard pick-six by Brandon Spikes as the Patriots go on to beat the Seahawks 24-14. Wes Welker catches seven passes for 101 yards, and Brandon Lloyd adds a 14-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to lead the way for what's quickly becoming a more and more unstoppable offense.

PATRIOTS 26, SEAHAWKS 20
The Patriots won 67 percent of more than 10,000 AccuScore simulations. If the Seahawks hold the Patriots' RBs to less than 3.5 yards per carry and sack Tom Brady 4 times, Seattle's chances of winning jump to 59 percent. If Brady is sacked no more than twice, the Patriots become 72 percent favorites, according to simulations.there is just a 29 percent chance Seahawks rookie QB Russell Wilson throws more TDs than interceptions. If he does, Seattle becomes the slight favorite at 51 percent.
