As noted in this space on Sunday, veteran tight end Visanthe Shiancoe (injured reserve/designated to return) and fourth-year defensive lineman Myron Pryor (physically unable to perform list) are eligible to begin practicing on Wednesday.
Asked on Tuesday if they will do so, coach Bill Belichick said: "We haven't made a decision on that. It's possible."
It is notable that Shiancoe (hamstring) and Pryor (shoulder) are far enough long from a health/medical standpoint to make this a possibility.
Shiancoe isn't eligible to return to the active roster until after Week 8, but he'd add depth at practice as Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and Michael Hoomanawanui have been limited in recent weeks.
