Patriots-based links around Web

Some links around the Web with a Patriots-based twist:

1. Gronkowski on midseason All-Pro team. Pete Prisco of CBSSports.com puts together his midseason All-Pro team and it includes tight end Rob Gronkowski. He's not putting up crazy numbers like last season, but he's still the best,” Prisco writes of the lone Patriot on the team.

2. Brady in second tier of MVP talk. Dan Parr of Pro Football Weekly compiles his “MVP meter” and notes that it’s a four-player race. Quarterback Tom Brady isn’t part of the discussion at the top of the list, but finds himself in the No. 6 spot.

3. A sweep in the AFC East. NFL.com puts all its reporters on the record with their midseason picks and they all see it the same way – the AFC East is a runaway for the Patriots. One reporter picks the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.

4. Patriots voted best organization. In a Sporting News poll of 103 players, the Patriots were voted the NFL’s best organization, with 34 votes.

5. Wilfork earns midseason All-Pro consideration. David DeChant of Pro Football Weekly puts together a midseason All-Pro team, and in addition to tight end Rob Gronkowski, he adds defensive lineman Vince Wilfork to the mix. “The Patriots’ run D has been excellent and Wilfork is a huge reason why. He lines up in a number of different gaps as the Patriots use various fronts, and moves very well, making plays you wouldn’t expect him to make,” DeChant writes.

6. Behind the scenes in London; Brady 1-on-1. The most recent edition of Patriots All-Access includes a behind-the-scenes look at the team’s trip to London (unique stuff), as well as a 1-on-1 interview with Tom Brady (who hopes to play well into his 40s).
