FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots guard Logan Mankins (ankle/calf) and defensive end Chandler Jones (ankle) were both in uniform for the start of Thursday's practice, a positive sign for their availability for Monday night's game against the Houston Texans.
Mankins has been out since Nov. 11 with the ankle injury, while Jones has missed the previous two games.
Guard Dan Connolly (back) and tackle Sebastian Vollmer (back/knee) were also present for the start of Thursday's practice. Connolly did not finish Sunday's game in Miami due to injury.
Meanwhile, offensive lineman Nick McDonald was not seen on the practice field on Thursday. McDonald replaced Connolly on Sunday, and finished the game, but has been listed as limited in practice for several weeks with a shoulder injury.
Tight end Rob Gronkowski (forearm/calf) was the only other player not spotted for the practice, which was held in light shoulder pads.
