FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – On a Sunday in which the Patriots didn’t play a game, the biggest news for the team was the Ravens losing to the Redskins.

Because of that result, if the Patriots go on to win their remaining four games, they would earn a first-round playoff bye. The first domino to fall comes tonight in a “Monday Night Football” contest against the AFC’s top-ranked team, the Texans.

“It’s a very big game for the season standings and everything,” Patriots offensive lineman Logan Mankins said, stating the obvious.

Here is a look at the remaining games for the AFC’s top teams:

Texans (11-1)
Remaining games: at Patriots, vs. Colts, vs. Vikings, at Colts

Broncos (10-3)
Remaining games: at Ravens, vs. Browns, vs. Chiefs

Patriots (9-3)
Remaining games: vs. Texans, vs. 49ers, at Jaguars, vs. Dolphins

Ravens (9-4)
Remaining games: vs. Broncos, vs. Giants, at Bengals

Colts (9-4)
Remaining games: at Texans, at Chiefs, vs. Texans
