Brady returns to practice

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady returned to practice on Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's session.

Brady was listed on Wednesday's practice report with a right shoulder injury, although it's most likely the team was giving Brady rest after attempting a career-high 65 passes on Sunday night.

With Brady back in the fold, only linebacker Mike Rivera (ankle) was not spotted at the start of Thursday's practice.

The Patriots, who continued to practice with just 52 players on their active roster, were in light shoulder pads for the second straight session.
