Fells earns practice honor

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Veteran tight end Daniel Fells was one of four Patriots to earn practice player of the week honors, the second time this season he's been recognized with the award.

In addition to Fells, three players on the practice squad -- receiver Kamar Aiken, linebacker Jeff Tarpinian and defensive back Malcolm Williams -- earned the honor.

Fells has dipped to third on the tight end depth chart the last three weeks, surpassed by Michael Hoomanawanui.
