FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is once again wearing a white protective wrap on his previously broken left forearm.
In the Dec. 30 season finale, Gronkowski had similar protection over the forearm. He played 25 of a possible 80 snaps in that game (including penalties) and didn't look fully comfortable, particularly blocking.
Gronkowski broke the forearm playing on the field-goal protection unit in a Nov. 18 game against the Colts. In pregame warmups today, Gronkowski did not line up on the field-goal protection unit, with tight end Michael Hoomanawanui assuming that role.
