DORCHESTER, Mass. -- After not finishing Tuesday’s organized team activity, New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley appears to have dodged serious injury.

Visiting Roger Clap Innovation School in Dorchester on Wednesday, Ridley participated in outdoor activities with students, showing no ill effects after having his hamstring examined by trainers during Tuesday’s practice.

“We’re just working on the pushups right now,” Ridley said. “We’re trying to get our bodies right. Get our kids ready to go.”

Ridley was then asked if his own body felt right.

“Absolutely,” he said, smiling. “Perfect.”

Ridley was one of seven players, along with owner Robert Kraft, who visited the school Wednesday as part of the NFL’s “Play 60” health and fitness initiative.

“Guess Coach Belichick kind of rubbed off on me,” Ridley said. “Every drop we had, we did five pushups. I didn’t make them run any laps or anything. There were no drops though.”
