Patriots cornerback Alfonzo Dennard is scheduled to be in court July 31 to determine if his arrest for suspicion of driving under the influence could put him in jail on a probation violation, the Omaha World-Herald reports.
Dennard's probation is a result of him being convicted for assaulting an officer in 2012.
From a football perspective, Dennard is required to report to the Patriots on Thursday, July 25 and the Patriots' first open practice is July 26. The World-Herald reports that Dennard's attorney can request a different court date.
