The Patriots return to work after having Sunday as an off day. On Saturday, they went over the tape from Friday's preseason opener and made corrections.

Head coach Bill Belichick felt last week's joint practices with the Eagles helped the Patriots become a better team. He's hoping the same is true for this week's joint practices with the Buccaneers, which will be held Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

"We're looking forward to another similar type of week where we can improve and grow as a football team and continue to compete individually against the top players that they have, and continue our preparations for the opening game and a 16-game regular season," Belichick said on Saturday.
